Dreams – As Scripted by Spirit Guides

(All quotes are from the Ancestors unless other wise stated)

There are many ways that dreams can be interpreted – all of them valid and valuable and not mutually exclusive. Psychological and Jungian methods are probably the most popular. Yoga or Buddhist interpretation requires an advanced level of spirituality and the ability to usually download information from the Causal realm. Lucid dreaming is usually a gift that most do not have and in my experience is difficult to cultivate.

Shamanic dream interpretation is the closest to the discipline I am going to describe. Here the shaman’s dreams are scripted from their guides that usually are in the Astral realms - sometimes from the Causal enlightened realms. Spirits have a huge advantage over us sentient beings because they are non-local in space and time. Their viewpoint is much broader and well informed. They also have access to our karmic book of life and know to what purpose or destiny we have been assigned. We are all given a unique gift that can help others and the planet. Our task is to find and follow it with gusto. Our guides can help us to do this. In a crude way they are our Destiny "Ap" through the dream time. If we ask to receive they can help nudge us in the right direction or tell us when we are heading in the wrong one. Because free will is the cosmic law they are usually prohibited from telling us what it is. That is for us to find out. This quest is also seminal to our karma.

A purely psychological interpretation of dreams is limited and discounts a guiding non-local spirit source that can be nurtured and is highly personal.

It is useful to know a little about the death experience to understand how and why our guides or ancestors can help, or why the dysfunctional ones may intrude into our dreams and interfere.

CROSSING OVER

Involuntary Earth Bound Spirits.

When we pass over to the other side this crossing is not inevitable. If we are ill prepared we may become earth bound, stuck on the earth plane between the two worlds. Some earth-bound spirits (E.B.S.) do not even know they are dead and wonder why no one is bothering to converse with them. The involuntary E.B.S. usually occur due to a sudden, traumatic or confused death when it can be difficult to hear the ancestors calling them home or they are unable to visualize the light that is beckoning them. These folks will need to be guided back across the veil by someone with the right expertise. They most frequently abide in the home in which they had lived and the died. This may be a good reason why in some states it is necessary to tell a prospective buyer that this happened. They may intrude in ones dreams and even be seen in awake time by some who are receptive to this energy. There is nothing good about being haunted even if the spirit means no harm.

Voluntary Earth Bound Spirits

On the other hand, a spirit may choose to stay earth bound for a period of time in order to be a source of support and guidance to a living loved one through dreams or even visitations. They can also send messages by manipulating your or their favorite animal to you for support. In a sense this is also like a dream as is the downloading of information during awake time during some form of meditation or when one is in a receptive state. These E.B.S. are voluntarily making the decision to delay transition of their soul to the other side. In a sense they are making a sacrifice by being in the wrong place but at the right time.

Assuming we make the crossing uneventfully our karma will determine which vibration we have earned and arrive in. There are countless realms and vibrations within these realms.

The Causal Realms.

The Causal realms house the perfected souls. Their karma is intact and they do not need to reincarnate unless they choose to do service in the sentient realm again. In the Causal, one retains free will and can operate freely. When they do come back, they will frequently suffer for the greater good in order to do some seminal task. For instance, the “Gandhi archetypes” who usually suffer and make a huge contribution for a worthy cause.

The minority of us will have guides from the Causal. Fewer still from the Celestial realms. Depending on one’s belief the Causal may have other names; the enlightened realm, the Pure Land (Buddhism,) the Garden of Eden (Kabbalah.)

The Astral realms.

When dead, you can influence on behalf of others but not for yourself.

The last chance for determining and acting for your own mission and fulfillment, is with your last earthly breath.

You are then stuck with how you are and where you were.

For most of us our guides originate from the Astral realms where they loose free will. They are accountable to their karma and will need to reincarnate, possibly countless times, in order to attain spiritual perfection. We recycle back into the family who are the most likely to test and instruct us with the lessons we did not learn previously. Frequently we reincarnate back into the blood line.

There is no free will across the veil in the Astral. The dead depend on the living to repair, complete, forgive and release them if such is needed.

In the Astral we face a spiritual tribunal who scrutinize our past deeds lovingly and with compassion. However, there will be consequences for our failures - karma is relentless and we will have to go back again to reconcile.

Some may have the option of becoming a spirit guide to someone living. In this way – working through their free will – the guide can complete work s/he never finished in the past life times and improve their karmic profile. These guides are the ones responsible for our scripted dreams. We return the favor with gratitude usually in ritual using the "container" of a spirit guide altar.

Guides are not localized in time and space and can give us invaluable and sometimes life-saving advice – usually through dreams. They also gain knowledge and insight from the reconciliation process and are not the same as they were previously. The devout religious zealot may now be much more liberal, the one who did not believe in life after death – better educated.

Buddhist seek to pierce the veil of Maya (illusion) and get a glimpse of transcendent truth in dreams. To them (and the Ancestors,) real time is no different to the dream time - it is just another form of reality.

The Buddhists look at dream sleep as a rehearsal for the Bardot or the intermediate stage of death. Astral travel during sleep allows them to tap into "Store Consciousness"  (the accumulation of our consciousnesses from past lives.) In this way they have the ability to take stock and rehearse it in awake time so as not to make the same mistakes again this time around. To them;

Death - the Intermediate stage of Death -  Rebirth are no different to - Dreamless sleep - R.E.M. sleep - Rebirth (awakening to a new day.)

The dead and the living can best meet in R.E.M. sleep in the early hours of the morning in the Astral when the veil between worlds is the most permeable. Mostly the dead we meet are our guides or are reconciling with their karma in the Astral before reincarnating.

It is likely that many of us do dream in dreamless sleep but do not recall them. Yogananda was a Causal dream adept and probably best epitomizes the dreaming achieved by advanced Buddhists and Yogis. He did not enjoy being in the Astral, probably because of his high vibration. During dreamless Causal sleep one connect with enlightened masters and travel to other Locas.

Those that are lucid dreamers are able - with right intention - to do spiritual practice while asleep as well as have fun.
