THE POWER OF THOUGHTS, WORDS, THE SUBCONSCIOUS AND IMAGINATION
“Why sometimes I’ve imagined as many as six impossible things before breakfast.“ Lewis Carroll
Behind your image, below your words, above your thoughts, the silence of another world awaits.
“Man has a visible and an invisible workshop.
The visible one is his body - the invisible one his imagination.
The imagination is the sun in the soul of the human acting in its own sphere (the body), just as our sun in our solar system acts on the earth.
Wherever the sun shines, seeds planted in the soil grow and vegetation springs up.
The imagination acts in a similar manner in the soul and calls forms of life into existence.
The spirit (soul) is the master, imagination the tool, the body, the malleable material.
Imagination is the power by which the will forms entities out of thoughts.
It can produce and cure disease.” Paracelsus
Imagination enhanced by images of nature and music is a powerful tool for healing and curing ourselves. It can enhance the immune system and fortify the Inner Healer.
“When the soul wants to experience something, she throws out an image of the experience in front of her and steps into it.” Meister Eckhart
Whatever the heart yearns can be imaged. It is only for the will to activate the process.
The heart must honor the mind for its understanding and the mind must follow the heart in its wisdom.
Soul conversation is not of the mind, it is of the senses.
IMAGINATION # 3
SOUL SPEAK AND HEARTFELT-NESS
“I am certain of nothing but the holiness of the heart’s affections and the truth of imagination.” Keats
The sages taught that intention gives birth to one's desires - desires of the senses, desires of the heart and desires of the soul.
This is what is meant by "delight yourself in the Creator and S/He will give you the desires of your heart.”
... that is His desires for us and our true purpose on the planet rather than for our often misguided intentions.
Heartfelt-ness, passion and yearning strengthen the process.
So, determine well the heart's true desire for in releasing the power of your motivation, its energies will actualize the holiness or the unholiness of a neutral thought, action or aspiration.
Imagination can be for sacred or profane purpose. If we use it for the negative or dark compulsions rather than the positive or light intentions there will be unfavorable karmic consequences. The Creator gave us imaginative power for spiritual transformation and to serve others as well as ourselves.
Religious and duty bound motivation is all well and good karmically but when it is heartfelt it becomes soul connected and will have more traction.
You must have the power to catalyze, encourage and sustain the effectiveness of empowering for transformation but it must be the
heart's desire not duty's commitment
that responds to God.
It is with the trust of caring,
the surrender of willfulness,
the exiling of doubt
and the acceptance of imagined certainty that you will come to succeed.
Intention cannot be granted unless your soul's intention is made; the focused attention to conscious willing - intention's pure consciousness…
Sensory driven imagination is more powerful. Sacred music is the easiest way.
Soul-speak is a private language learned by listening with the heart.
It has many sounds including that of silence.
Its letters are formed by intention and yearning, (will, passion) which gives life to the words, and surrender, meaning to their eloquence.
All is fashioned by imaging…
Desire, passion, with strong-willed intention change things. Heartfelt-ness is crucial for Soul-Speak. Yearning strengthens the process.
“If you want to build a ship, don’t gather people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
