CONSCIOUSNESS IN NATURE
THE ELEMENTS & US #4
The “Wind Spirit” of the Divine animates everything; the elements, water and all Beings at differing frequencies and vibrations.
The mystery of who we are is contained
in the four winds and that without them none of creation would exist.
We are wrapped in the embrace of the winds.
Nothing exists whose existence is external to God. The Ancestors
“Miracles happen not in opposition to nature but in opposition to what we know about nature.” Augustine of Hippo
We are not limited by the laws we have made concerning the natural world ! The Ancestors
All the Beings have their own respective consciousness and we are able to communicate with them if we slow to their pace and vibration. Even the still beings are not inanimate.
The breath that created us is the same breath that created the worm and the stone and thus we share a oneness. The Zohar
and the Ancestors also teach;
Earth surface electrons and "grounding or earthing" may be a source of health. Studies have suggested that they can cause better sleep, increase immunity, decrease stress and that they can block electromagnetic fields from electronic devices. Maybe walking barefoot is a type of Mother Earth's reflexology. The San hunter gatherers walked, ran and hunted barefoot. The San Bushmen used to sleep on the earth around the fire at night together, embracing not only many of the elements but also each other - all for one, one for all (they"felt" each other.) We should try to emulate them as best as we can, when possible.
The Growing Beings
The Growing Beings are dependent on water as are the wild beings and us.
PO WA HA - Water, Wind Breath. The Spirit that makes the wind blow and the rivers flow. Tewa Pueblo Native Americans
To experience the Growing Beings, we must listen to them.
Concerning plants and trees; do not overlook the splendor of starkness - the drab and leafless have their beauty and their purpose too, for they are of My breath. The Ancestors
Research has shown that plants feel and respond to sound and prayer. Prayer and the right sound increase their growth. Rock music and especially heavy metal can kill them. They, like us, also have a neurological system, though primitive. Some can even “dance.” Pea seedlings have memory - they can twine around and know up from down. If you turn them on their side they still grow up. The zone behind the root tip is critical. The root tip is the "brain", the sex organs are above ground. The “head” is below the surface. The root apex feels and finds the softest ground and can wriggle like a worm. If the root tip is excised it grows aimlessly. Plants sleep and some fold their leaves. Water wakes them up. If sleep is prevented they turn yellow, wither and die.
Experiments were done at Findhorn in Scotland where two fields of potatoes were planted. One was given standard care and the other love, prayer and music as well. The latter grew far better and was tastier as well. How much could we benefit in health and vibration if we could all lovingly grow our own food, like at Findhorn?
Phototropism is one of the many plant tropisms or movements which respond to external stimuli. Growth towards a light source is called positive phototropism, while growth away from light is called negative phototropism (skototropism). Heliotropic flowers track the sun's motion across the sky from east to west. Plants breath in carbon dioxide through the use of chlorophyll and sunlight during the day and expel oxygen. In the process they change water and carbon dioxide into sugar that they use for food. We inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide through the use of iron and hemoglobin while plants, with the help of magnesium, inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Because of climate change we need them more than ever.
“Green to plant red to blood you color us with life and health.” The Ancestors
The green color in plants comes from chlorophyll which is vital for photosynthesis. Nitrogen has the greatest impact on the green and is absorbed by the roots as nitrate or ammonium. Microorganisms in decaying matter in soil convert nitrogen to nitrates and make it available to the plant. Magnesium is readily available in the soil and is also essential for chlorophyll. Chlorosis (yellowing of the leaf between the veins occurs with magnesium deficiency – not unlike anemia in humans due to iron deficiency. Iron in soil is only needed by plants in small quantities. Divine intelligence can be seen permeating everywhere in nature.
"We are all one, though not the same."
“The Zohar tells us that there is not a single blade of grass that is born of the earth that does not carry within her immense wisdom and immense heavenly power.
Humility and awe let one see most clearly and hear most truly.
Every blade of grass has an angel watching it inspiring it to grow.”
Plants that have a lot of spiritual power usually also have aroma. We use them in cooking and indigenous peoples for incense. Native Americans - white sage (the other sages as well,) Southern African sangomas - Imphepho (a type of Helichrysum). Using them in cooking and placing a small amount in our water bottle can favorably change its vibration especially if used with loving intention or prayer.
“There are many paths to the mystery wisdom exuding from the growing things that surround us, from the color of the sky, and from all the still beings. It is impossible for the world to exist without fragrance, for our souls to survive without aroma. One must breathe deeply into the spirit flow. Only through the spirit self can we access the mystery which is itself spirit. The soul's senses must be fed.” The Ancestors
If we pick or use a plant especiallyfor sacred use, we should ask permission, give gratitude and even make a small offering because …
Being of the breath of God, all creation is responsive to love, gratitude and petition. Each as it is acknowledged becomes receptive to giving and receiving. That is how we experience the other. The Ancestors
“A river arose out of Eden forming four rivers and four winds. They joined to form a singular spirit which animates all creation.” The Zohar
